Biography

Eric is a PhD student in Music Education at UF College of the Arts. He holds a master’s degree in Music Education and a bachelor’s degree in Arts Education (Music and Swahili) from Kenyatta University in Kenya. He has directed various popular and choral music ensembles in Kenya including Kenyatta University Students’ Choir and Kenyatta University staff pop music ensemble. His research interests include choral music pedagogies and musicianship. 

He is currently a Graduate Research Assistant at the UF Center for Arts Migration and Entrepreneurship as well as the Director of UF Pazeni Sauti Africa Choir.
