Chloe Dean
Administrative Specialist
Biography

Chloe Dean is an Administrative Specialist II with UF Center for Arts in Medicine. She is a first-generation college and PhD student, and graduated with cum laude with a B.A. in Psychology from Biola University in California. She is currently pursuing her PhD in English at the University of Florida and her focus is primarily on instances of race, racism, and the use of stereotypes in American literature and its socio-political effects. She greatly enjoys her role in the Center and performing her work within it to develop and maintain administrative systems and processes, as well as being able to participate in projects as they arise. She has enjoyed assisting and being able to see the Center's work in the community, participating in its various commitments, and advancing the work of the Center through her work on the intensives, depositories, and management of the department. Her interests include music and literature, and so on her down time, she enjoys adventuring with a good book with her service dog, and finding the best coffee and tea wherever she is.
