Elise Kashmiry serves the university as the Administrative Specialist for the University of Florida Band Department.
Kashmiry is an alumnus of the University of Florida holding two degrees, BSBA in Marketing with a minor in Communication Studies and MS in Business Administration concentrated in Entrepreneurship. During her time at UF, she was a Gatorette and member of the Gator Band serving in a leadership role three of her four years with the program. She was thrilled to return home to both UF and the Bands program.
Ms. Kashmiry has a background in finance, administration and event planning/production bringing 10 years of business and administration experience to the department. Prior to moving to Gainesville she worked in New York City as an administrative assistant in a boutique investment firm, Lazard Capital Markets, gaining her Series 7 & 63 certifications. She then delved into the event industry working as office manager at Fiore of Pensacola then MMD Events of Tampa, with work in between as an assistant event planner at Mary Kenealy Events in Sarasota. Ms. Kashmiry has lengthy experience working with high-level events of all types and sizes. She loved working closely with clients to make every event personal and meaningful for whatever occasion they were hosting.
In addition to work at UF, Ms. Kashmiry loves spending her time in Gainesville working as an assistant coach of the UF Gatorettes, a baton twirling coach to children of all ages, and an instructor at Pure Barre Gainesville.
