Marie Kessler is the Operations and Program Manager for the Center for Arts, Migration, and Entrepreneurship (CAME). Her position provides administrative oversight and project management support to advance the programmatic and research goals of CAME’s network of creators, entrepreneurs, and scholars.
With experience managing programs in non-profit, government and university settings, Marie has worked with local food systems and immigrant advocacy in Arizona and Pennsylvania. Prior to her most recent position as Deputy Clerk for the Gainesville City Commission, Marie led a team with the UF/IFAS Family Nutrition Program to implement local food systems strategies in partnership with county Extension offices across Florida. Marie holds a BA in Communications and Spanish from Clemson University and a JD from Northeastern University School of Law.
