Biography

Joseph is a Mississippi-native costumer holding an M.F.A. in Costume Design and Production from the University of Alabama and a B.A. in Theatre from the Mississippi University for Women. They have been blessed to work in a variety of roles in their field, including as: costume designer, costume crafts artisan, design assistant, wardrobe supervisor, and shop manager. They have worked at theatre companies like Okoboji Summer Theatre, Stagedoor Manor Performing Arts Training Center, Hartford Stage Company, and Olney Theatre Center; as well as in the entertainment world of theme parks such as Busch Gardens Williamsburg and HersheyPark. They still find great love in the work of collaborative storytelling through theatre and the arts, hoping to tell compelling stories and better support the spaces that are producing them.

Outside of theatre, they find joy in a long-standing hobby of Dungeons and Dragons, keeping up with the latest in K-Pop, and spending time with their dog, Sugarplum. Their motto is: "Negative outlook, positive attitude."
