Hyo Jeong Kang is an Assistant Professor at the University of Florida in the Digital Worlds Institute. Her research lies at the intersection of virtual reality, consumer psychology, and user experience. She received her Ph.D. in Design Studies with a focus on Virtual Reality at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, her M.S. from Seoul National University and B.B.A, Business Administration from Ewha Women University, South Korea. Utilizing an interdisciplinary approach, her research aims to address designing an intuitive and natural VR interface any novice VR users can easily use.
