Biography

Hyo Jeong Kang is an Assistant Professor at the University of Florida's Digital Worlds Institute. Her research focuses on the intersection of virtual reality, augmented reality, and user experience, particularly within STEM education and workforce training. She earned her Ph.D. in Design Studies with an emphasis on Virtual Reality from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, an MS from Seoul National University, and a BS from Ewha Womans University. By employing an interdisciplinary approach, her research aims to create intuitive and user-friendly VR interfaces specifically designed for novice and non-technical users.
