Alicia Lores is a Communications Student Assistant at the UF Center for Arts in Medicine. As a fourth-year Visual Art Studies major, she specializes in photography and is currently pursuing a certificate in Graphic Design and minors in Art History and Chemistry.
Alicia’s artistic practice focuses on issues pertaining to identity, emotion, sociology, and immigration. Her goal is to create artworks that spark feelings of reflection and empathy from the targeted audience. She is also currently interested in conducting research discussing the effects of art on social media platforms.
During her free time, she is an epee fencer for the UF Fencing Club and currently serves as Captain and Social Media Coordinator for the organization. She is a music enthusiast, an avid reader, an amateur ukulele player, and a Pinterest fanatic.
