Whitney is the Communications Assistant at the UF Center for Arts in Medicine and a UF College of the Arts Alumni. She is simultaneously pursuing her Master’s of Science in Information at the University of Michigan, specializing in User Experience Design and Research (UI/UX) and Human Computer Interaction (HCI).
A driving force in Whitney’s process is bridging both human-centered design and communications to produce work that prioritizes diversity, inclusion, and web-accessibility. She believes that focusing on these elements is vital for understanding the fundamentals behind arts in health.
In her free time, Whitney is most often found outdoors. She enjoys traveling and engaging with different cultures, backpacking and cycling with her dog, and swimming wherever she can.
