Elizabeth Snow, MA, R-DMT, is a Registered Dance/Movement Therapist involved in a variety of academic, clinical, and community programs. Within the Center for Arts in Medicine, Elizabeth teaches Dance in Medicine and facilitates Theatre for Health workshops for young people in the Gainesville community. She also serves as a research assistant and study abroad program assistant.
As a clinician, Elizabeth has worked with a variety of populations including young children and primary caregivers, individuals with substance use disorders, veterans, and adults receiving inpatient psychiatric care. She currently provides bedside dance/movement therapy for patients at UF Health Shands Hospital, promoting creative expression and body awareness as integral to the healing process.
