Professional Summary:
Jessie Dominguez is a highly accomplished and classically trained ballerina with an illustrious career spanning over two decades. Her journey began at the prestigious Alejo Carpentier Elementary School of Ballet in Havana, Cuba, in 1993. Over the years, she honed her skills at the Cuban National Ballet School Fernando Alonso, garnering numerous awards, including two silver medals in 1998 and 1999 and a gold medal in 2000 at the esteemed International Ballet Encounters of Academies Competitions for the Teaching of Ballet in Havana.
In 2001, Jessie graduated from the Cuban National Ballet School as a Distinguished Graduate and received the prestigious Gold Diploma, an honor bestowed upon only one person per graduating class. The same year, she joined the esteemed ranks of the world- renowned National Ballet of Cuba under the artistic-technical direction of the legendary founder and absolute prima ballerina Alicia Alonso. Her journey with the company commenced as a soloist, but her extraordinary talent propelled her rapidly to the position of principal dancer.
   
 In 2016, Jessie Dominguez embraced a new chapter in her career, joining Dance Alive National Ballet in Gainesville, Florida, as a principal dancer and ballet professor for the company and school. Within this role, she has furthered her artistic endeavors with prominent appearances in DANB repertoire productions. Additionally, Jessie has collaborated as a ballet master with several esteemed ballet companies and academies throughout the United States, notably including Pennsylvania Ballet Conservatory, La Villa School of Arts, Saint Augustine Ballet, Orlando Ballet Academy, Miami City Ballet School, Russian Ballet of Orlando, School of Ballet Arts, Florida Classical Ballet, Doxa Dance Studio, and Momentum Dance Company.
Professional Achievements:
As a principal dancer, Jessie Dominguez has performed a diverse repertoire that showcases her mastery of classical ballet and her prowess in contemporary and neoclassical works. Her performances have included iconic roles such as Giselle, Don Quixote, Swan Lake, Coppelia, La Sylphide, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Apollo, Carmen, Nutcracker, La Fille Mal Garde, La Bayadere, and Theme and Variations. She has also showcased her versatility through captivating interpretations of works by acclaimed choreographers such as Alberto Alonso, Laura Alonso, Alberto Mendez, Gustavo Herrera, Ivan Tenorio, Jean Gran Maître, Annabelle López Ochoa, Luis Serrano, Peter Quanz, and Gerard Ebitz, among others.

Jessie Dominguez possesses a rare combination of skills and experiences, having been trained and performed at the highest echelons of the masterful tradition of the Cuban National Ballet while also excelling in performances of a more creative and experimental nature. Current Role:
Presently, Jessie Dominguez holds the esteemed position of ballet professor at Santa Fe College, where she continues to impart her expertise, passion, and knowledge to the next generation of aspiring dancers.
