Arts in Medicine Professional Development Residency

Professional artists who work in healthcare settings are invited to participate in an intensive five-day clinical practice residency with the UF Health Shands Arts in Medicine Program through the University of Florida Center for Arts in Medicine.

The Professional Development Residency will engage experienced healthcare-based artists in bedside practice, creative exchange, and innovation in clinical practice. Participants will immerse in daily clinical practice with senior artists in residence at UF Health Shands Hospital and UF Health Shands Cancer Hospital, and in in-depth explorations of practice through clinical artists rounds and other interactive forums. Participants can focus in one artistic discipline or explore multiple disciplines.
