Acting
Acting at the University of Florida is rooted in craft, curiosity, and collaboration. Through conservatory-style training and academic exploration, students develop the tools to bring compelling characters to life on stage and screen. Whether pursuing a professional career or building foundational performance skills, actors at UF engage in rigorous studio work, voice and movement training, and performance opportunities guided by faculty with national and international experience.
Both undergraduate and graduate students explore a range of styles and techniques—from Shakespeare to screen acting, realism to devised work—while learning to take creative risks, work collaboratively, and connect deeply with audiences.
