UF School of Theatre and Dance alum, Matty Limerick (MFA, 2020), discusses landing their dream job as a costume coordinator for Universal Studios Epic Universe extraordinary world, “How to Train Your Dragon — Isle of Berk.”

Dancing in the Archives is an ongoing collaboration between the School of Theatre and Dance and the University of Florida George A. Smathers Libraries Special Collections. Dance majors conduct archival research on three African American women who shaped the modern dance repertoire—Katherine Dunham, Zora Neale Hurston, and Pearl Primus—culminating in public performances in the library.

Sarah Albee, an undergraduate student in the School of Theatre and Dance, and Brendan Sweeney, a graduate student in the School of Music, partner on performances for which Sweeney writes the music and Albee choreographs the dance score.
