Programs & Initiatives

The Center for Arts, Migration, and Entrepreneurship (CAME) convenes local and global creatives, scholars, and entrepreneurs to design interdisciplinary experiences that encourage reflection, dialogue, and collaboration. We host artist exchanges, workshops, and performances to spark curiosity, explore new ideas, and promote connection and well-being.

CAME is recognized for bridging the UF campus and the surrounding community through partnerships with local arts organizations, government agencies, educators and business leaders.

Maker in Residence Program

The Maker in Residence Program is a powerful incubator for artists, entrepreneurs, scholars, designers and creatives whose work is consciously located within a cultural diaspora and engaged with the contexts, impacts, and opportunities of migration and entrepreneurship in creative fields.

Space for People, Arts, Research, and Creativity, Collaboration and Community (SPARC352) is an initiative grounded in the idea that arts are at the core of vibrant and healthy communities. We partner with educators, local government agencies, and youth organizations on programs to promote family nutrition, literacy, economic opportunity and more.
