To attain the Jazz Minor a passing grade of B or better is required of all courses listed in the Jazz Minor.
In order to pursue the Jazz Minor students must pass the Jazz Theory Proficiency Exam with a grade of B or higher. Students who receive a grade of B- or below will be permitted the option to study suggested materials and re-take the Jazz Theory Proficiency Exam in the following semester. Students will be allowed only one attempt per semester to take and pass the jazz Theory Proficiency Exam.
