University of Florida International Piano Festival

Application Deadline: April 1, 2020.  Upon review of application materials, applicants will be invited to participate in one of three divisions: Artist, Rising Artist, and Learner. Applicants are highly encouraged to apply earlyas space is limitedCorrespondence regarding application status will be made via email.


UFIPF Application Procedures
 

1.Complete the online application  (application fee: $40) 
Please indicate your birthdate (MM/DD/YY) in the comments section. 

2. Send the following items electronically to UFIPF@arts.ufl.edu
(not required for applicants who choose to participate as Learner)
  -- Video files or links (YouTube, etc.) of at least two contrasting works performed by the applicant
  -- A short statement (less than 300 words) describing your musical background and why you want to participate in the UFIPF
  -- Letter of recommendation from your current piano teacher (to be sent directly to UFIPF@arts.ufl.edu )

3. Participants will be notified upon acceptance and given instructions for completing their registration.

*Applicants are automatically considered for merit-based scholarships based on the submitted materials.

Registration Timeline

April 1: Application deadline
April 10: Applicants will be notified of the acceptance and scholarship status. Applicants are asked to confirm their participation.
May 1: Deadline for Tuition payment
May 15: Deadline for Room & Board payment
June 12: Participants arrive in Gainesville

Artist Division & Rising Artist Division

Application Fee: $40 (non-refundable) 
Festival Tuition: $595 (merit-based partial or full scholarship available)
Room & Board: $485

Learner Division

Application Fee: $40 (non-refundable)
Festival Tuition: $200
Room & Board: $485
