Viola Day

UF Viola Day is a full day of viola playing, learning, and community at the University of Florida School of Music. Designed for middle school, high school, college students, and young musicians, the event offers participants the opportunity to play in a large viola ensemble, participate in group classes and masterclasses, explore mindfulness and musicianship, attend guest artist performances, and learn more about studying music at UF. The event also features a Violin to Viola Lab for young violinists interested in discovering the viola. With opportunities to learn from accomplished artists, connect with fellow musicians, and experience the vibrant music community at the University of Florida, UF Viola Day welcomes students, teachers, and professional musicians to celebrate the art of the viola.
