Graduate Certificate in Curatorial Studies
Focus on the history, theory, and practice of curating art collections and exhibitions.
This 12-credit certificate prepares students for careers in museums, galleries, and cultural institutions. It combines academic study with real-world experience through:
- ARH 6931, Topics in Curatorial Studies (3 credits)
- ARH 5816, Methods of Research and Bibliography (3 credits)
- Elective (3 credits)
- ARH 6941, Supervised Internship (3 credits) – 135 hours in a curatorial setting
Students design internships that align with their goals with faculty mentorship.
International students: Internships require CPT approval. Contact UFIC before beginning any internship (paid or unpaid).
