UF Flute Ensemble participates in FSU’s Flute Choir Day

The UF Flute Ensemble was the featured guest ensemble at FSU’s Flute Choir Day on April 12, 2014 in Tallahassee, Fla. The ensemble performed a recital, Associate Professor of Flute Kristen Stone taught a master class and the ensemble performed two pieces in combination with the FSU Flute Choir, including the world premiere of a beatbox flute choir arrangement of Saint-Saens’ Bacchanale from Samson and Delilah. Fifteen UF students performed on the trip, including music majors, flute minors and non-major members of the Flute Ensemble.
