Visiting Assistant Professor Andrew Babcock placed first in the SIME (Semaine Internationale de la Musique Electroacoustique) 2018 competition in Lille, France with his electroacoustic composition, Ventriloquy. This prize marks the eighth total award for the work, including first prizes in the CICEM (Monaco, 2016) and Città di Udine (Italy, 2016) composition competitions.
