The UF Clarinet Ensemble proudly announces the release of its fourth CD recording, Christmas Clarinets. The recording was conceived and conducted by UF Professor of Clarinet, Mitchell Estrin, and released by Mark Records. Musical selections include such holiday favorites as Sleigh Ride, Christmas Festival. and Suite of Carols by Leroy Anderson, Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Suite, as well as works by J. S. Bach, Percy Grainger, and Engelbert Humperdinck. The CD also features a new arrangement by UF composer Dr. Paul Richards. Faculty collaborators on the project are Dr. David Waybright (producer and guest conductor), Professor Jay Watkins (producer and guest conductor), Dr. Chip Birkner (producer and performer) and Professor Scott Wilson (performer).
