Musicology professor selected as Faculty Fellow, Summer Institute in Israel

Dr. Jennifer Thomas will be spending two weeks in Israel participating in a competitive academic Summer Institute comprising Fellows in diverse disciplines from across the United States. The program fosters cross-cultural exchanges, partnerships and research collaborations with academic peers. Thomas will meet with scholars from major Israeli universities, including Hebrew University in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv University, where she will be speaking to an early music graduate seminar. In addition to academic meetings, the participants will tour Israel, receiving lectures and tours of cultural and historic sites, visiting cultural institutions and learning about Israel’s history and future.
