Laura Ellis performs in Northeast and Midwest

Laura Ellis, associate professor in the School of Music, played six solo carillon recitals throughout the country this summer. Her July performances began with a four-stop swing of Vermont and Massachusetts: Mead Memorial Chapel, Middlebury College (Middlebury Vermont); Charlotte Nichols Green Memorial Carillon, Norwich University (Northfield, VT); St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church (Cohasset, MA); and Tilton Memorial Carillon (Norwood, Massachusetts). In addition, Ellis played recitals on the John Courter Memorial Carillon at Berea College (Berea, Kentucky) and the Mary M. Emery Memorial Carillon in the historic village of Mariemont, Ohio.
