Kadin De La Barrera (sophomore horn major - BM in music performance) has been accepted via videotaped auditions to the Eastern Music Festival in Greensboro, North Carolina, this summer.
"This is one of the most prestigious orchestral festivals in the nation," said Gerard Schwarz, principal conductor.Â
Highlights this season include Mahler's Symphonies No.1 and 9, Strauss' Don Juan, Bartok's Concerto for Orchestra, Tchaikovsky's Symphony No.6, Prokofiev's Romeo and Juliet, Shostakovitch's Symphony No.10 and Lutoslawski's Concert for Orchestra. The Gator Horn Studio is so proud of him.
