Dr. Randolph Lee's soloist debut album set for November 13 release

Dr. Randolph Lee’s album features new works for trumpet and choir. The Trumpet Sounds on Centaur Records includes two new works for trumpet and choir as well as Hovhaness' Prayer of St. Gregory for trumpet and organ. Ian Coleman's The Trumpet Sounds Within-a My Soul, for solo trumpet and a cappella choir, is a soulful setting of the Spiritual Steal Away. Anthony Maglione's The Mystic Trumpeter, an eight movement Cantata for solo trumpet, vocal soloists, choir, brass ensemble, organ and percussion, is based on Walt Whitman's poem, The Mystic Trumpeter. This album adds new significant works to the trumpet literature.
