Dr. Megan Sheridan, assistant professor of music education at UF, presented “Back in the Field: Reflections on Fieldwork with Students with Special Needs” at the Mountain Lake Colloquium for Teachers of General Music Methods. She presented her autoethnographic study where she examined her experience working with students with special needs in a self-contained public school setting.
The biennial colloquium was held May 21-24, 2017, at the Mountain Lake Lodge in Pembroke, Virginia.
