Dr. Kristen Stoner and UF alumni perform at the National Flute Association Convention

Dr. Kristen Stoner recently performed two world premieres with the Florida Flute Orchestra and the Metropolitan Flute Orchestra at the National Flute Association (NFA) Convention in Washington, D.C., Aug. 13-16, 2015. Former UF flute students Marcela DeFaria, Jodie Sluys, and Jackie (Kelly) Wright also performed during the convention. The NFA Convention is the largest flute event in the world, attracting over 3,000 flutists from around the world every year.
