Brazilian trumpeter and teacher Dr. Arthur Zanin performed and presented a masterclass for the UF Trumpet Studio March 12, 2018. Zanin was accompanied by pianist Kathy Plympton as he performed some of his transcriptions. His masterclass consisted of general musical ideas as well as expounding on the function of breathing and brass playing. Zanin demonstrated for the trumpet studio the proper use of a breathing bag in the aid and development of correct breath control.
