Center for Arts in Medicine hosts first annual Arts in Health Research Intensive

Thirty arts and health professionals from six different countries converged at UF for the first annual Arts in Health Research Intensive in January. The program was presented by the Center for Arts in Medicine in partnership with the UK Arts Health Early Career Research Network.

Across five days, participants learned about research methodologies specifically applicable to the field. Bolstered by daily creative practices, research exercises and team-work simulations, this inaugural intensive provided attendees with a dynamic, rigorous and fun experience.

We are so proud of our participants and look forward to this annual event taking place again next year in the U.K. Click the following link to read a blog post about the experience written by one of the attendees. https://www.artshealthecrn.com/blog/lead-event-arts-in-health-research-intensive-university-of-florida-29th-jan-2nd-feb-2018
