We’re excited to announce the start of the 2017 Arts & Parks Sculpture competition. This competition is a collaboration between the ApexTek Labs, University of Florida, and the Arts and Parks Foundation of the City of Gainesville. It is great opportunity for students to express their talents, earn recognition, and improve the streetscape of the city!
Overview
• Competition is open to all enrolled students at UF
• Students are to submit a design that meets the specifications outlined
• The winning design will be chosen by a panel of judges from all three organizations
• Materials and fabrication (as outlined) will be provided by ApexTek Labs free of charge
• The winning sculpture will be installed and displayed on Main Street
• Due date for design submissions is Friday, September 22nd
