Join the Center for Arts in Medicine for the next session in the Arts in Health Webinar Series, featuring panelists Elke Downer (Senior Manager, JoyRx Music and UF Center for Arts in Medicine alum), Dr. Jenny Baxley Lee (Director, UF Health Shands Arts in Medicine Program and Master Lecturer with the Center), and Ricky Kendall (Arts in Health Practitioner, UF Health Shands Arts in Medicine Program).
This session will focus on the role of the arts within healthcare and clinical settings. From hospitals to outpatient clinics, artists are increasingly part of care teams—supporting patient well-being, staff resilience, and community engagement. Panelists will share diverse models of practice, real-world career pathways, and practical insights into how artists of all modalities can enter and thrive in healthcare environments.
