The School of Art and Art History and HOT Clay Club at the University of Florida proudly present visiting artist Tanya Hartman as part of the Fall 2016 Visiting Artists Lecture Series. The lecture series is free and open to the public. They will begin at 6 pm in the Fine Arts C, Room 101. The lectures offer the community at large an important opportunity for dialogue about contemporary art and culture in relation to national and international trends.
Tanya Hartman:
Tanya teaches painting and drawing at the University of Kansas where she is an Associate Professor in the Department of Visual Art. Her critical writing on art has appeared in The Kansas City Star, Temporary Art Review, and Ceramics Art and Perception Magazine as well as in numerous catalogs. Educated at The Rhode Island School of Design and Yale University, Hartman was a Fulbright Scholar in Stockholm, Sweden.
