The Math and Science of Comedy

Come join the playwright of PUFFs for an exploration on timing, characters, and comedy.  Get an in depth look at the silliness and seriousness you can accomplish in bits and other “funny things” using some of Matt’s own work!

Matt Cox’s plays include Puffs Or: Seven Increasingly Eventful Years At A Certain School Of Magic & Magic, Adult Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Madness of Captain Dread, and the 3-part epic Kapow-i GoGo. His work has been produced at The People’s Improv Theater, The Tank, and The Flea Theater, among other places. He has also authored the radio play El Hombre Bovino for WNYC’s The Greene Space, and contributed to The Flea Theater’s The Mysteries. Matt has studied at The Upright Citizen’s Brigade, The Stella Adler Studio of Acting, and Tarleton State University.
