Symphony 101

      This course will be taught Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:30-7:30 PM. First class starts May 10th, and the last class will be June 2nd. (NOTE: There will be no class meeting on Memorial Day. The final class on June 2nd will be from 6:30-8:30 p.m.)

    What makes a symphony a symphony or a concerto a concerto? Who says so? We’ll explore the composers who established the orchestra, its music, and those who are carrying it forward through the 21st century!

    All Community Music School courses are $200 for the first course, which includes all class sessions. Each additional course is offered at the discounted rate of $150.

    Course fees benefit UF School of Music students and programs. Please note that this is not a UF credit-bearing course.
