Enjoy a triumphal trumpet, piano, and brass performance by School of Music Assistant Professor of Trumpet Dr. Randy Lee, Colombian Pianist/Composer and Assistant Professor at the Universidad de los Andes in Bogota Dr. Mauricio Arias, UF brass faculty Dr. Jemmie Robertson (trombone) and Dr. Robin Sisk (tuba), as well as some very talented UF Brass graduate students on October 4, 2018 at 5:30 p.m. in the Music Building, Room 101.
Lee is celebrating the completion of the recording part of his upcoming album La Trompeta Camaleonica, featuring new music from South American composers, by reuniting with his good friend Arias, who composed most of the works and played piano on the album. With help from great colleagues and friends, they are going to bring the album to life by performing most of the tracks live including a world premiere performance.
