    Brazilian pianist Pablo Marquine started his piano studies at age five and soon was considered to be a prodigy on the instrument. He decided to pursue a career in music when he was ten years old and later studied with Alda Mattos in Brasilia, the capital of Brazil. While pursuing his master’s degree at the University of Brasilia, Pablo specialized on the music of Claudio Santoro (1919-1989), the foremost Brazilian composer in the second half of the twentieth century. This recital presents works from the major compositional periods of the composer.
