Mass

Join the School of Art + Art History at the University of Florida for Mass, an exhibition by graduating BFA student  Chloé Rager, on April 21, 2017, from 7-10 pm, at Gainesville Art Studio.

Mass is a large-scale sculptural installation utilizing the aesthetics of city streets and facades. The artworks use light, vivid colors, and site-specific material. Many of the sculptures feature material from the city of Gainesville, including signage, security grating, and other streetscape elements. The combined elements of the exhibition draw parallels between church architecture, theatre sets, and city streets.
