The University of Florida School of Theatre + Dance is excited to present John Proctor is the Villain as an audio play directed by Susan Schuld. In present day Appalachian Georgia, a high school class explores the quintessential American classic, The Crucible. As scandals brew in their community and old heroes are unmasked, the English assignment starts to hit too close to home for the students. The line between witch and heroine blurs in this post-Me Too examination of power, love, and sex education.
