    The Fifth Annual Florida Contemporary Music Festival, April 5-8, 2017, is a celebration of the music of our time, featuring international guest performers and composers, with 10 concerts, masterclasses, and presentations, all free and open to the public.  Guest artists include composer and electric guitarist Michael Frengel, pianist and composer Keith Kirchoff, British cello virtuoso Timothy Gill, and visiting composers from around the southeast.

    4 pm                Doctoral Composition Recital, Robert Seaback

    7:30 pm           Keith Kirchoff, concert of music for piano and electronics

    Thursday, April 6

    10 am              Keith Kirchoff lecture on music for piano and electronics

    4 pm                UF New Music Ensemble concert, featuring cellist Timothy Gill

    Friday, April 7

    10 am              Mike Frengel presentation (Friends of Music Room, University Auditorium)
