    When a Hollywood film crew arrives on a remote island off the west coast of Ireland to film Man of Aran, Billy, a young, lonely crippled man, sets out to seize his opportunity for a better life. An extraordinary tale of hope and determination, this comic play set in 1934 is full of eccentric characters and surprising pathos. Black humor fuels this story about a young man with big dreams and the small-minded community that surrounds him.
