College of the Arts Spring 2019 Recognition Ceremony

    Join us in congratulating our graduates at the Spring 2019 Recognition Ceremony! This ceremony will follow the university-wide commencement on Saturday, May 4. Our students will be recognized and celebrated individually. Regalia is required for graduates.

    The event will be live streamed on the College of the Arts Facebook page.

    Ticket Information

    The ceremony is free but tickets are required. Graduating students MUST REGISTER to attend and bring guests. Students will order guest tickets when the register. 

    The deadline to register is March 22.

    GUESTS: Students will order your tickets when registering for the ceremony. 

    Ticket Pickup

    Students can pick up their tickets in-person in the lobby of Fine Arts A on the following days/times:

    Monday, March 18 from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
    Thursday, April 11 from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
    Friday, April 26 from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
    Friday, May 3 from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

    Students who are unable to pick up their tickets during one of the times above can collect them on the day of the ceremony at 12:30 p.m.

    Please bring your ID, and note that tickets cannot be picked up by anyone other than the graduating student.

    Master's Hooding

    Master’s students: Faculty will hood master’s students during the ceremony. If you’re participating, please invite your faculty chair/member to serve in this honorary role. Kindly confirm the names to Laura Robertson or Phillip Herr-Klepacki. Please note we will have available faculty to assist, if your faculty member is not available to attend.

    Doors open for family & guests at the Phillips Center

    1:00 PM
    Open seating for family & guests begins

    1:30 PM
    Faculty assemble at the Phillips Center

    2:00 PM
    Ceremony begins

    2:05 PM
    Processional

    Please note that no seating can occur during processional. We encourage your family and guests to arrive early.

    Faculty

    Faculty will be seated on stage, and regalia will be required. If you do not have regalia, you can find the order form here. Please email your completed form to Piper Call at pcall@arts.ufl.edu. The deadline to order faculty regalia is March 11. 

    Faculty are asked to RSVP to attend the ceremony.
