An Introduction to Percussion

      This course will be taught Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:00-7:00 PM. First class starts May 9th, and the last class will be June 1st. NOTE: There will be no class meeting on Memorial Day. The final class on June 1 will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m.

    This course will be an entry level guide into percussion focusing on snare drum, keyboard percussion, timpani, and drum set. Whether you want to learn to play or need a refresher, this course is for you!

    All Community Music School courses are $200 for the first course, which includes all class sessions. Each additional course is offered at the discounted rate of $150.

    Course fees benefit UF School of Music students and programs. Please note that this is not a UF credit-bearing course.

    Registrants must be age 18 or older. Registration will lock for each class at 4:00 p.m. on the first meeting day.
