Created by acclaimed performer and director Teo Castellanos, F.Punk Junkies is a high-octane, genre-defying performance that fuses theater, music, and movement into an electrifying, Afropunk-inspired experience. Rooted in Castellano D-Project’s “AfroRican Punk” aesthetic, the piece draws on Orisha mythology, Black and Puerto Rican folk tales, and is driven by the energy of 1980s Black punk bands.
Audiences are immersed in an exploration of ancestral roots, transformation, and human connection—stories that resonate within the geography we inhabit. F.Punk Junkies engages the ritual power of the interactive performance circle and reimagines what live theater can be—visually striking, rhythmically charged, and deeply unifying.
