Between 2014 and 2016, the Center for Arts in Medicine conducted a study of how the arts are used for health communication in public health programs in Uganda. The study was funded by the University fo Florida Research Tutorial Abroad program, and conducted in partnership with Makerere University in Kampala, Uganda.

Purpose of the study: to learn about how the arts are used in health communication programs in Uganda, and to document theoretical foundations and evidence-based best practices for doing so.
