Telling Gainesville

Jeffrey’s work with veterans is also notable.  In partnership with The Telling Project, The Actors’ Warehouse, and UF’s Center for European Studies, and with support from The Florida Humanities and The National Endowment for the Humanities, Jeffrey produced and directed an original production of Telling: Gainesville (Nov. 2016). This community project brought four veterans and a military wife together and weaved their life stories into a theatrical production.  By connecting veterans’ stories to the community through theater, a greater understanding of the veteran experience is transferred.  Post show discussions allowed audiences to ask questions and discuss their experiences with the veterans.
