The UF Center for Arts in Medicine’s AIM for Africa initiatives create cultural bridges between the arts and healthcare in the U.S. and several African nations. We are committed to cross-cultural collaborations that provide clear benefits to communities in Africa, to our local communities, and to University of Florida students and faculty across disciplines. We currently have projects and partnerships in Rwanda, Kenya, the Democratic Republic of Congo, the Gambia, and Uganda. In 2016-17, we will be continuing our work in Rwanda and Uganda.
