Application Deadline: April 16, 2018. Upon review of application materials, applicants will be invited to participate in one of three divisions: Artist, Pre-College, and Observer. Applicants are highly encouraged to apply early, as space is limited. Correspondence regarding application status will be made via email.
A limited number of partial scholarships will be available to outstanding applicants who prepare a Scholarship Essay (300 words or less) describing the circumstances of financial need. The applicant's audio recording and teacher's letter of recommendation will also be considered.
1. Complete the online application.
2. Send the following items electronically to Dr. Jasmin Arakawa, Director, UFIPF
(not required for applicants who choose to participate as Observers)
-- Audio or video files or links (YouTube, etc.) of at least two contrasting works performed by the applicant
-- Letter of recommendation from your current piano teacher
-- Scholarship Essay (optional)
3. Participants will be notifed upon acceptance and given instructions for completing their registration.

3. Finalists will be announced by May 1, 2018. The live final round will take place June 16.
Artist Division: $1200.00
Rising Artist Division: $900.00
Observer: $500.00
Fees without housing are reduced by $250.00.
