The Theatre Performance program at the University of Florida offers intensive, conservatory-style training within a dynamic academic environment. Here, you’ll develop the physical, vocal, and emotional tools of a performer while building the confidence, discipline, and adaptability to thrive in a competitive industry.
Students engage deeply with acting technique, movement, voice, and character work, supported by faculty mentors who bring professional experience in theatre, film, and television. In small class settings and through realized productions, you’ll explore a wide range of roles and performance styles—from classical to contemporary, musical to experimental.

Undergraduate Degrees
Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA)
Conservatory-style training for students pursuing careers in acting or musical theatre, with individualized coaching and performance opportunities.
Areas of Study
Undergraduates have the opportunity to pursue one of two areas of study.
Master of Fine Arts (MFA)
Conservatory-style graduate training in acting for stage and screen, with a focus on craft, collaboration, and career readiness.
