Doctor of Philosophy in Music
The Ph.D. in Music at the University of Florida is a research-intensive doctoral program for students pursuing advanced scholarship in musicology, music theory or composition. This degree is designed for individuals who want to contribute original research to the field, engage critically with music across cultures and eras and prepare for careers in academia, publishing or interdisciplinary inquiry.
