Let your sculpture shape you.
Sculpture at UF is rooted in experimentation, material exploration and expanded definitions of form. We start with a strong foundation in three-dimensional processes and move toward installation, performance, public art and media-based work. Here, sculpture is not just about objects, it’s about ideas, environments and the impact of space, time and context.
The undergraduate program in sculpture provides you with a deep investigation into contemporary sculpture, including its history, theory, techniques and evolving role in culture. Courses explore traditional and experimental methods alike, encouraging you to find your own voice through the cycle of conceptualization, making and critique.
